Orange PZB

Neck collared greylag Marston. The WWT scheme ringers got back to us very quickly.

Ok, so it probably never originated from Iceland, but it’s history provides some interesting data:

First marked on Lake Windermere as part of a study looking into the moult dispersal of geese away from the area. Most birds from the project have been sighted in Lancashire, Cheshire, Northumberland and Yorkshire- however this is the first bird to have been seen in Lincolnshire as part of this study.

Date 27/06/2015 Rayrigg Hall, Lake Windermere. Age 4.

Date 23/01/2016 Martin Mere, Lancs.

Date 09/03/2016 Marston sewage works, Lincs.
