Cut End, Witham Mouth.
A barn owl hunted along a ditch on the approach to cut end car park.
The slavonian grebe, present since the start of the year continues to enjoy the fishing and feeding along the edges of the Witham and Welland mouths. Very close in at times.
Sixteen red-breasted mergansers were offshore.
Great entertainment as a cormorant tackled a large flattie and ended up looking like a cobra.
The four European white-fronted geese still present.
A flock of over 300 linnets.
Drake scaup still, visible from the visitor centre.
Merlin, caused ducks and waders to scatter all over.
Over 200 pink-footed geese.
