5 drake red-crested pochards, 2 female goldeneyes, grey wagtail, kingfisher, 2 bullfinch, a few redwings and fieldfares.

Belvoir lakes.

Best bird was a flyover raven.

Kilvington lakes.

Female red-crested pochard, redshank. (Caspian gull seen earlier by Ed Staunton). sparrowhawk,  lots of fieldfares.

Marston stw.

4 water rails seen briefly in flight-others heard, cetti’s heard, grey wagtail, stonechat male and female, sparrowhawk, 2 green sandpipers, 18 curlew, 65 golden plover over to the east, 60+ pied wagtails at the works, 2 little grebes, lots of blackbirds, fieldfares and redwings, 3 bullfinches.

Belton.

A couple of thousand rooks and jackdaws gathering to roost and three geezers in the middle of the grass field smoking marijuana, a strange sight in the half light. I was expecting an owl instead.
