The pec sand, (a great abbreviation nickname I’ve always thought. Don’t think I’ve ever met anyone calling it a pectoral sandpiper), was still on the reservoir. Also here was a juvenile spotted redshank.
On the sea I had a couple of arctic skuas.
Other seabirds were a fulmar, about 25 gannets and lots of common and sandwich terns. 20 species of wader noted.
Along the wetland trails a couple of wheatears showed, along with three whinchats.
