Framps was heaving with birds yesterday. I was trapped in the East hide for most of my visit due to torrential downpours. Three temminck’s stints were lovely.
Earlier at Freiston shore I bumped into Paul Sullivan, he told me the spoonbill usually made an appearance at Frampton around 4 pm. Well, it was around fifteen minutes early.
Paul recorded a little stint and two curlew sands. Also around was a garganey. A turtle dove was drying out atop a telegraph pole near sykes farm as I left.
