A short break in North Norfolk revealed nothing unexpected or exciting, all there usual suspects were there and the weather was very bright if a bit blustery. The Fulmars were noisily occupying old nest sites and there were quite a few waders on the beach during the ebb. At Titchwell the freshwater lagoons were full of water and birds although the brackish and saltwater lagoons were practically dry. Good numbers of Brents close to the beach at high water (neaps) and I heard a couple of Cetti’s at Titchwell. A few photos (click on image for full size):
