Marston 14/01/2014

Local patch. Dawn start.

Not long after first light an Egyptian goose flew low, right over my head, unusual here, I’ve only recorded it once before, (Dec 2007). It looked as though it was putting down, but I didn’t see it again. P1010479By the end of the morning I’d logged 54 species, not bad eh? With a couple more seen by others, that’s about half of what we can expect for the entire year!
