Dropped in for a couple of hours today. Fairly quiet with a few waders hopefully heralding the late Summer migrations. Avocet in small numbers, loads of Ruff of all different sizes and colours, a few Ringed Plover, a good number of BT Godwits and Snipe and a lone Spotted Redshank. Six Little Egrets as well as the usual Duck/Goose species I’d expect to see, along with lots of Yellow Wagtails and a large flock of juvenile Linnets.
