The horse paddock at Mstw held 15 curlews with 9 snipe feeding alongside them.25 lapwings flew over and a green sand was on the scrape.Being quiet I decided to chop some branches down, which were impeding the view from the hide.I noticed lots of lesser black-backed gulls flying over so went for a bit of a drive round.Found a field being ploughed at Syston village.A yellow-legged gull was in the flock of mixed gulls there.P1050856Trev Lee drove by on his way to a job and we went through the gulls but the flock thinned out as the ploughman lunched. In the hedgerow we spotted a holly blue butterfly, hard to come by this year.
